About GordonGordon McBride has lived and worked as a writer, Episcopal priest and retreat leader in Tucson, Arizona since 1985. Before that time, he taught college history. His education includes three history degrees and seminary. His main hobbies are travel abroad and flying small private aircraft, though spending time with grandchildren is fast eclipsing all else. He serves the Diocese of Arizona as chair of the Commission on Ministry. Gordon is married to Kari Boyd McBride, an English literature scholar and Women's Studies professor. They have four children, three daughters and a son, and are also blessed with eight grandchildren and three step grandchildren. Gordon is available to lead conferences and retreats, particularly on fiction and spirituality, and on discernment. |
