About Gordon

Gordon McBride has lived and worked as a writer, Episcopal priest and retreat leader in Tucson, Arizona since 1985. Before that time, he taught college history at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Eastern Oregon State University and the University of Cincinnati, the latter while completing a Ph.D. His education includes three history degrees and a seminary certificate. His main hobbies are travel abroad and flying small private aircraft, though spending time with grandchildren is fast eclipsing all else.

Gordon is married to Kari Boyd McBride, a Women's Studies professor at the University of Arizona. They have four children, three daughters and a son and are also blessed with seven grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
